ActFax Download Area

All installation files are protected with a digital signature and a software publisher certificate to guarantee a highest level of security. The digital signature and the certificate are automatically verified by Windows after the download completed. Before official release, all software updates have to pass extensive test cycles in our labs for maximum hardware and software compatibility.

If you decide to purchase an ActFax license, existing test installations can be activated without reinstalling the software. All settings and data are kept that way, so you can continue with the data already stored on your fax server.

To automatically distribute ActFax through Windows Group Policy Objects (GPO), the ActFax setup is also available as a MSI installation package. When using the MSI package, the automatic installation and uninstallation of ActFax can be done with minimal administration effort in environments with many workstations. The program components included in the MSI package are identical with the components included in the normal setup. When doing the ActFax installation through a Group Policy Object (GPO), the setup automatically installs the fax client component of ActFax.

Beside normal fax modems and ISDN boards, ActFax also supports the complete product range of intelligent fax boards from the market leader Brooktrout/Dialogic. Since the drivers required for running Brooktrout/Dialogic fax boards are not shipped together with the fax board itself, the drivers need to be downloaded here. Take care to download and install the correct drivers, since the models TR114 and Trufax/non-RoHS and the models TR1000, TR1034 and Trufax/RoHS require different drivers.

In addition to English and French, ActFax is also available in German language. The download of this language version can be done through the download area on the German website. The language of an existing ActFax installation can be changed at any time by running the setup of a different language version. All settings and data of an existing installation remain unchanged when you run the setup of the fax server again to change the language.

The download of previous ActFax versions can be done through the Download Archive. We recommend to always use the latest ActFax version 10.30 instead of an outdated version, because using outdated software is a potential security risk and is often not fully supported by current Windows versions.
