Use ActFax with color documents and PDF documents

Does ActFax support color documents and text-based PDF documents?

Answer

As of ActFax version 10.05, ActFax is shipped with a monochrome fax printer driver as well as a color printer driver. The export of PDF documents and the transmission through email is done as colored, vectorized and text-based (searchable) PDF files. When using older ActFax versions, PDF files are created based on the monochrome fax graphics. Fax documents are always sent in monochrome fax format, also when using the color printer driver.
